1934 (Silver Border) Diamond Matchbooks Cubs team set

A series of matchbooks with 200 players in 4 distinct backdrop colors (red, blue, green, and orange) for a total of 800 possible covers were published in 1934 by the Diamond Match Co. of New York City.

An image of a player in black and white on the cover of the matchbook is bordered with silver. On the saddle of the matchbook, the player's name and team are displayed over the player's portrait.

There are 24 cub players in this collection, so there are 96 covers altogether. Two alternative stances of Charlie Grimm and Woody English are displayed. The players are arranged alphabetically.
