Difference in u3-1 and u3-2 matchbook

As you can see the 1935-36 U3-1 and the 1936-37 U3-2 have their differences. Let’s take the great cub Stan Hack and look into it a little more.

The blue one in this example is the 1935-36 U3-1.
The red one is the 1936-37 U3-2.

First major clue are the pictures of Hack 1936-37 U3-2 are manly of the head and shoulders while the early release is a whole body shot.

The best way to tell the difference, because some of the pictures are alike, is in the bio as you can see 1936-37 U3-2 bio mentions the 1936 season. Well that concludes this series on matchbooks if you have any questions just email me and I will be happy to answer it.
