Topps Cubs Team Pitcure set

This post deals with Cubs team cards from Topps. I have to say, 1971 was my favorite, just like those floating heads and autos. The 62 card is worth the most. It was a SP and deserves a premium. The 56-card has three different fronts. There was a long gap between team cards from 1982 to 2001. What's up with the 2003 team and that wall? Hopefully I didn’t skip any years. Check out the pictures below and see which one your favorite is.

  1. The pictures of the 60's Cubs were re-used quite a bit. The 1960 photo was used in 1963, 1964 and 1965! The 1961 was re-used in 1962.

  3. Very nice! I think Topps used the wall to hide batboys that were sitting on the ground--I read somewhere that they couldn't show them because they weren't a part of the license.
