1978 Wiffle Ball Discs - CUBS

These discs were on the side of Wiffle Ball boxes with three cards facing out and two facing in. Even though the copyright date on the discs are 1976, the player selection implies that this set was issued early in 1978.

Four different styles exist. Ball boxes in sizes Junior, Regulation and Softball each contained five cards. A fourth version was a cardboard sleeve that held a bat and ball together. This version contained just two cards printed on the sleeve.

1954 Wilson Franks

The 1954 Wilson Franks card set consists of 20 cards, each measuring 2-5/8" x 3-3/4". These cards are among the most popular and scarcest Midwest regional baseball card sets issued with hot dogs during the 1950s. The front of every card features a color-added photo against a brightly colored background, plus his name, position and team affiliation, and the product logo - package of frankfurters - all surrounded by a small white border.

Card backs feature the player's name, position and team inside a black box at the top. There are two sections below that. One contains vital statistics like height, weight and birthday, and the other has a short written biography.

1936 R312 Pastel Photos - CUBS

These Baseball Photos are reminiscent of a water-color type painting in soft pastels. The Allen card is reportedly more difficult to obtain than other cards in the set.
