1932 World Series Program

This World Series is particularly famous for Babe Ruth's legendary "called shot" home run, which took place during his 10th and final appearance in the event. The atmosphere was charged with intense disputes between the two teams, escalating the tension even before the series commenced. A remarkable total of 13 future Hall of Famers participated in this World Series, alongside three additional future Hall of Famers: umpire Bill Klem, Yankees manager Joe McCarthy, and Cubs manager Rogers Hornsby. Notably, it was the first World Series where both teams donned uniforms featuring numbers on the backs of their shirts.

The series program showcased images of both teams and Wrigley Stadium, which was quite colorful. It's unfortunate that the Cubs couldn't secure a few wins to make it more interesting.
