1992 Front Row Ernie Banks first Auto On Card

This five-card standard-size set features Hall of Famer Ernie Banks. Each set includes an official certificate of authenticity that gives the production run (25,000) and the set serial number. Banks autographed the first card of 5,000 sets that were initially offered exclusively to Front Row Collector's Club members. Cards 1-4 carry color player photos on the fronts, while card No. 5 has a black and white photo.

Front Row’s main gimmick was limited, serial-numbered print runs of their cards. Front Row’s cards were simple and clean in their design, but they did not have an MLBPA license, so their cards didn’t feature team logos. Front Row became Spectrum, and they started producing gold and hologram cards as well as offering autographed versions of their cards.
