1937 Diamond Matchbooks (U-unc) Chicago Cubs Set

This 21-player Cubs subset (U-unc) was issued by the Diamond Match Company in late 1936 and early 1937. Each player's cover is featured in three different colors; red, green, and blue. All player photos have shoulders shot. The set was released with two different colors of ink, brown and black.

This particular Cubs subset is fun and fairly easy to collect. It’s important to note that the 1936 U3-1 set is similar and can be very confusing I will show a blow up of all the different bios and show the difference in the sets in next week’s post.
