1930 Chicago Evening American Pins

The Chicago Evening Post was a daily newspaper published in Chicago from March 1, 1886 until 1932. The newspaper failed during the Great Depression and absorbed into the Chicago Daily News. In 1930 Chicago Evening Post had a set of pins that featured 10 members of the Chicago Cubs and 10 members of the Chicago White Sox. These unnumbered pins are ordered below alphabetically by team. The pins measure approximately 1 1/4" in diameter. The top of the pin gives the player's position, last name and team nickname. The photos are black and white on a white background. The player photos are head only with no neck shown.
