The 1954 Wilson Franks card set consists of 20 cards, each measuring 2-5/8" x 3-3/4". These cards are among the most popular and scarcest Midwest regional baseball card sets issued with hot dogs during the 1950s. The front of every card features a color-added photo against a brightly colored background, plus his name, position and team affiliation, and the product logo (a package of frankfurters), all surrounded by a small white border.
Card backs feature the player's name, position, and team inside a black box at the top. There are two sections below that. One contains vital statistics like height, weight, and birthday, and the other has a short written biography.
