These cards were launched in two separate series: one in 1910 and another in 1912. The Red Cross cards were packaged with Red Cross tobacco products. There are three distinct types of these cards: Type 1 features brown captions from 1910, Type 2 showcases blue captions from 1912, and Type 3 is recognized by its green ink 'Pirate Cigarettes' backs, which I believe were sold in England. According to well-known dealers and collectors, these cards were produced for servicemen deployed overseas and are part of a mixed T206 set. Very few of these sets exist. To ensure you don't purchase a counterfeit piece of history, always obtain a professionally graded card from a trusted seller. Graded cards are expected to appreciate significantly in value over time.
