1910-19 Coupon Cigarettes (T213-1) (T213-2) (T213-3)

Set 1 debuted in 1910 and showcases designs with brown captions inspired by the T206 set. The cards are easily identifiable by their backs, which read "Coupon (Mild) Cigarettes," and the entire set consists of 68 cards printed on heavy paper.


Set 2 cards feature T206 designs, distinguished by their light blue captions. Produced between 1914 and 1915, this set includes numerous team changes and affiliations with the Federal League. They can be easily recognized by the backs, which display the phrase "20 for 5¢." In total, there are 184 cards printed on cardboard and have a glossy surface.




Set 3 was created in 1919 and is a bit smaller than the other two sets, featuring "16 for 10¢" printed on their backs. The set contains 69 cards.



Size of Cards

Each card in Set 1 and 2 measures 1 1/2" by 2 5/8" whereas Set 3 cards are only 1 3/8" by 2 9/16".

Basic Features

The tobacco card sets known as T213 were issued between 1910 and 1919 were distributed exclusively in the Louisiana area. The series is also known by the name of the tobacco manufacturer whose advertisements appear on the backs of the cards, "Coupon Cigarettes."

Dale Hollow fishing was great the weather turned a bit nasty day 2 but we survived. This wild Billy goat was super friendly, love to eat, if you ever get a chance to go don’t hesitate.
