Each card features diagonal stripes at the top and bottom corners that show the player's last name and position, though the plastic card stock can be prone to cracking. So, what is it that makes these 3D baseball cards so remarkable? Begin with a cutout of a player, add a blurred background behind it, and then place a transparent plastic layer with ridges over the image. This marked the third consecutive year that Kellogg's created a 3-D set. Distributed one per specially-marked box of Kellogg's Raisin Bran, Sugar Pops or Cocoa Krispies.
