Basic Features
This set includes 24 team trays, each with nine punch-out discs, making it the largest disc collection ever created at that time. Collaboratively developed with Michael Schecter and Associates, these discs share a similar fundamental design with other MSA discs, but the back features a cartoon character of a burger chef. The front showcases biographical details about the player, while the bottom lists their name, team, and position, with a portrait of the player prominently displayed in the center. The entire set consists of 216 distinct discs. Although these discs were launched in 1977, they hold a copyright from 1976. The tray opens up to reveal a baseball diamond that determines play outcomes such as "Home Run" or "Out." It includes Burger Chef characters like Where Wolf. The packaging also provided assembly instructions and game rules. To find out where the ball lands, you blow into a straw. As the ball is blown away from home plate, there are specific areas designated for single, double, triple, out, and home run. If the ball touches any of the black areas that divide the squares, it counts as a strike. If it goes beyond the last space, it is deemed an out.
