1926 ESCO (W461)

Between 1921 and 1928, seven distinct sets were released, each featuring subtle variations that enable collectors to distinguish between them, despite the fact that ESCO (Exhibit Supply Company of Chicago) did not include any year on the cards.

1926 ESCO features a total of 128 cards, including 8 players from the Cubs.

Size of Cards

The size of the cards are 3 3/8" x 5 3/8"

Basic Features

There are 70 cards in the 1926 set that are identical to the 1925 issue and can only be differentiated by a slight blue tint to the cards. Of the 58 remaining cards, 21 cards use the same image as 1925, but do not have the white-bordered box around the player name. The other 37 cards are new to the issue. The final 37 do not contain a text box, and also feature the line "Ex. Sup. Co., U.S.A."
