Chicago Cubs Picture Pack photos were available for purchase at souvenir stands in the Ballpark. All the Jay Publishing photos were released in a uniform style. The front side showcases black-and-white posed images of players, with the player's name and team name printed below in a white border. Each packet contained 12 cards. The reverse side is blank. Many of these photos can be traced back to different years, as the same image was often reused over multiple seasons. Interestingly, the only significant difference between the cards made from 1958-1961 and those from 1962-1965 is the font used. The earlier Type 1 cards featured a sans-serif typeface, while the Type 2 cards from 1962-1965 utilized a serif font.
