The size of the notes are 3 3/8″ tall by 7 3/4″ wide.

Basic Features

As demonstrated above, there is a considerable collection of Baseball currency that spans three years. The Chicago Note features a portrait of team president A. G. Spalding on the left side, accompanied by his facsimile signature located beneath the image. On the right side, the Spalding N28 Allen & Ginter card is displayed. Next to this figure is a spiked green seal with white text that reads: "MEMBERS OF THE CHICAGO BASEBALL CLUB." The reverse sides are adorned with decorative designs: the years 1887 and 1888 are presented in green, while 1889 is shown in pale red. Twelve portraits of players are illustrated in coats and ties, with Captain Anson prominently positioned at the top center across all three years.
