Between 1921 and 1928, seven distinct sets were released, each featuring subtle variations that enable collectors to distinguish between them, despite the fact that ESCO (Exhibit Supply Company of Chicago) did not include any year on the cards.

Basic Features
The inaugural Exhibit set introduced cards featuring a photograph on the front, The player's name is beautifully inscribed in cursive, with his position and team name placed beneath it. The back of the card was blank. These cards were the size of postcards and could be acquired from a machine specifically created for penny arcade venues.
